For the past few years some Transition year students went to France during the school year as well as in June/July.

In 2012 Irish students will depart on April 10th and return on May 1st or April 23rd - May 18th. French students will be on school holidays for some of this time, so Irish students will experience normal family life and also attend school with the child of the host family.

Before choosing this alternative, Transition year students must receive permission from their school authorities as, they will be absent from their own school for three weeks.

It must be emphasised that if transition year students prefer to go during June/July they are most welcome to do so.

It is possible to organise stays at other dates and also longer stays in France during the school year. Parents and students interested should refer to the webpage entitled Individual Stays 2012.

Transition Year 2012 - 2013
We are now accepting bookings from students who will be in transition year 2012-13 and who wish to go to France during the academic year. We can arrange stays ranging from 3 weeks to full term. Interested students or parents should contact us to discuss their requiements and options.
